Middleton Shows Another Strong Fundraising Quarter

Raises $87,984 in Strongest Quarter Yet

Charleston, SC – Clay Middleton, candidate for Mayor of Charleston released the numbers for his quarterly fundraising report.

“I’m very humble and proud to have this type of growing commitment from a cross section of individuals who believe in my ability to lead Charleston forward together. We had over 397 separate contributions in Q1 and 693 separate contributions in Q2; that is an increase of almost 75%!

Over the course of this campaign, we have 1593 total contributors and 1017 unique contributors. We are moving in the right direction and our message, energy, and focus is catching on.”

Clay Middleton is a native Charlestonian who has dedicated his life to public service. A graduate of The Citadel, he is currently a Lieutenant Colonel serving as a Battalion Commander in the South Carolina Army National Guard. He served as Director of Business Services for the city of Charleston, where he led the Business & Neighborhood Services division. Previously, he served in the Obama administration and longtime aide to Congressman Jim Clyburn.
