VoteVets elevates the voices of Veterans and military families through progressive legislative policies and electoral endorsements that impact the lives of active service members, Veterans, and the country. Started in 2006, VoteVets PAC and VoteVets Action Fund have been the home for progressive veterans, military families, and their civilian supporters for over 15 years. It is the first organization of its kind and the largest, with over one and a half million supporters in all 50 states. VoteVets uses public issue campaigns to relentlessly lift up the voices of veterans on matters of national security, veterans’ care, and everyday issues that affect the lives of those who served, and their families.
The Collective Pac's mission is to build Black political power through education and equipping voters, donors and candidates with various resources including trainings, technical assistance, advertising and fundraising. They are specifically looking to improve our democracy by addressing the underrepresentation of African Americans in public office, and through recruitment, training and supporting voters, donors and candidates, they aim to build an entire new generation of Black civic leaders on the local, state and federal levels.
The International Longshoremen’s Association is the largest union of maritime workers in North America, representing upwards of 70,000 longshoremen on the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts, Great Lakes, major U.S. rivers, Puerto Rico and Eastern Canada. This union is the largest and oldest organized labor force in South Carolina.
Run for Something is a progressive American political organization dedicated to recruiting and supporting young candidates running for down-ballot office. Its mission is to get young progressive candidates from non-traditional backgrounds to run for and win state and local offices, and create a next generation slate of political candidates that will seek higher office in the future.
