The Middleton Project’s mission is to train, mentor and prepare a generation of visionary leaders through public service, communication and substance. The 501c3 works to provide students with an environment where they will thrive, motivated by their mentors and motivating their peers to excellence.
Purpose: To enhance verbal and written communication skills of young people and develop leadership characteristics and skills that will enhance their desire to excel and assist them in achieving high performance in any field that is pursued.
Objective: To build a bench of dedicated people that will become active in their community and in society in order to provide vision, purpose, and leadership globally.
Program: Conduct an annual oratorical and essay contest in middle and high schools. Coaching and mentoring will also take place to prepare students adequately for competition and afterwards to ensure continued development. A commitment to student success in and outside of school is critical to provide more options for our students.
Scholarships in the form of savings bond will be provided to the winners until such time they attend college/ university or a two-year institution. A similar scholarship will be provided should an individual enter the military after high school.
